Polk County Georgia is not a household name as far as counties go in Georgia, at least from the awareness of people living in metro-Atlanta.While it is true that there are Black people living in every county in Georgia, once you start going north toward the "North Georgia mountains", there are few of us around to speak of.
I know from personal experiences going up to Helen Georgia and Pigeon Forge TN that the sight of White male "good ole boys" in camouflage, coming from a hunting trip is very disconcerting to a brother.
This is my personal mindset that allowed me to hear of an attack on a pizza delivery person in Polk County in north Georgia in which she was stabbed 50 times, in which I concluded in my mind "THESE CAN'T BE BLACK PEOPLE. This is Polk County".
I must rid myself of the profile that I have fused in my mind based on assumptions about who lives in a particular location.
UPDATE - THE FACTUAL DEMOGRAPHIC DATA ABOUT BLACKS IN NORTH GEORGIA.
I wonder if this data will cause the "keyboard critics" in North Georgia to see that my assumptions about the lily White condition of North Georgia are not totally unfounded?
It sounds like they believe that the area has "all the Blacks" that they care to handle as it is and are not interest in having any more to experience the highly intellectual bastion that they have sculpted out of red Georgia clay.
Police: Pizza Delivery Woman Stabbed 50 Times
CEDARTOWN, Ga. -Police say they've identified two teens who are considered suspects in the brutal stabbing of a pizza delivery woman, and they're working to track the pair down. Investigators say Elizabeth Hutcheson was stabbed more than 50 times while delivering pizza at a home in Cedartown on Thursday night.
The stabbing happened just after 9 p.m. at a home on Thompson Street. Investigators say Hutcheson's attackers ran away after stabbing her.
Officers who were conducting a traffic stop nearby heard Hutcheson's screams and rushed to help her.
Police say Hutcheson was a 27-year-old mother who worked at Domino's Pizza. They have identified one of the suspects as 18-year-old Cadedra Cook, and the other suspect is a 15-year-old boy whose name is not being released. Warrants have been issued for their arrests.

As a white woman who lives about a mile from here, and knew the victim very well, you are both just reinforcing horrendous and outdated stereotypes which fuel the kind of warped perception this incident gets viewed through. Bottom line is. two people brutally murdered an unarmed innocent woman who was working to support her family. It was pitch black dark at the scene. So what does it matter whst color the people were?
