IF the goal is INTELLECTUAL HONESTY then the answer is clear:

It is RIDICULOUS to attack a White Woman for relaying what WAS PERMISSIBLE IN PUBLIC - you know COMMERCIAL SPEECH.

Unfortunately we are not dealing with INTELLECTUAL HONESTY.  In disallowing Ms Paltrow to relay what she saw on a commercial sign that did not come under attack from a 'Civil Rights Pharisee Group" - those who are otherwise committed to such consistency would be forced to reopen the door that they threw conservative talk show host Dr Laura out of a few years ago when she dared relay the same observation but then had the audacity to say "Ninja Ninja Ninja" as a radio caller expressed her personal offense in the use of the word.

Of course the quantity of the "offensive word used by Dr Laura is easily exceeded in the chorus section of just one Jay-Z song on his typical album. 

But of course since Jay-Z has so much strategic importance in other areas - what is the big deal on the permissiveness of the word "Ninja" between a few friends - and the millions of WHITE FOLKS that purchase his music and who sing Karaoke?
