Solution For The Dust-up Between Chicago Police Chief and Chicago Gangs: Team Up Against The Corporations And Demand Jobs

Only in America!!!!!!!

Chicago Gangs To Police Chief - You Are Not Playing Fair

Let me set up this scenario because it is important.
Chicago is in the midst of yet another "Bloody Summer".  The Police Chief of Chicago Jody Weis called out the "Street Pirate Gangs", telling them to "stop the violence or suffer the fate of a massive crackdown."  He threatened Federal prosecution under RICO statutes.

The Street Pirate gangs are upset because they believe that they were tricked.
The Chicago Police called them in on a "Gang Summit" in which there would be a bilateral set of talks.  Instead they received this unilateral dictate and thus their hurt feelings.

I always like to substitute the Klan forces from the past in the place of today's most deadly threats to Black people in order to detail the gross differences in the responses.

From the gang's perspective they argue about the need for Jobs, Education and Justice.  They are acting in this "Klannish" fashion because they believe that society has discarded them.  Of course - had the White trash forces of the Klan made the case that their attacks upon Black people was due to the need to keep Blacks economically and politically suppressed because they did not want the competition - no civil rights leader would have bought it.   In fact, despite hearing from many of these old school civil rights leaders that the RACISM in the eyes of the Klan failed to allow them to see that poor Whites and poor Blacks were linked in their fate as the economically disenfranchised masses. They should be working together - but ONLY after the Klan stopped their attacks on Black people.

Of course the civil rights activists have a very different engagement model with street pirate gangs and their lyrical representatives - the rappers who are "Hip Hop Voice Of The Street Pirates".

It is obvious that the list from the gangs that includes "jobs, education and justice" equally matches the demands made by these civil rights leaders.  This is why there is a drive to redeploy these Black gang members who come from the communities that are controlled by the political and ideological forces associated with the civil rights groups.  The civil rights establishment seeks to turn them into more productive activists.

I have stated previously that the main reason why there is no scathing crack down by the Progressive Civil Rights Establishment against "Hip Hop Voice Of The Street Pirates" is because they don't want to sever the relationship to the point of disrepair - the street pirates actively attacking the Black Establishment.  By teaming together against a common EXTERNAL enemy and the Black Establishment compromising itself as it agrees to remain silent about the ignorant, "Nigger-word" & gun-violence threat laced commercial material injected for public consumption - they can achieve a facade of "unity" and struggle.

I have stated before: "Progressivism is in-organic" .  When it becomes the ruling ideology - the "last man standing" it fails to appreciate its new mandate.  Functionally it must switch into being the "conservator" - putting forth a set of living standards and ENFORCING them.  In doing so it would have to jettison its most powerful tool:  the INDICTMENT against their conservative adversaries.  In effect they must turn inward and MANAGE the human resources that they have long claimed to be working on behalf of.

We see clear evidence all over that they have no plans nor compulsion to change.  Their ideology is more important than doing what it takes to achieve the end that they desire - at the LOCAL level.

Instead they leverage the land that they now control and its highly aggrieved conditions as the basis for a their continuing advocacy and struggle OUTWARD.

The Chicago Police and the Chicago Gang Street Pirates Unifying Against The Corporate Establishment

Though there is a bit of sarcasm behind this statement - it functionally parallels what the Progressive Establishment is already doing.  The Chicago police are nothing more than the agents of projection of the laws and statutes from the city/state/federal government upon the people on the streets of Chicago.  The same politicians that claim to advocate for the people on the street are also the authors of the laws that the police enforce.  Though the legislators don't ever have to garner a set of handcuffs and go into the streets to enforce their own laws........and on occasion they can join a protest march when the police perform an heinous act.....the fact remains that the police are agents of the work produced by these legislators.

Many activists (ie: Kevin Powell in NYC) are vying to enter into the legislature to continue their mission of struggle while wearing a 3 piece suit under a capital dome -  fighting for jobs, education and justice.  The Street Pirates have the same outcome in mind.

The question now becomes: WHO should the activists be struggling against being that they now control the eco-system within which these street pirates come from?

The Benign Neglect That Produced The Street Pirate

It is clear to anyone who wants to see it by now that the more success that the progressives have in controlling of particular plots of land, the more that they are driven to deny their complicity and accountability for the conditions that remain.  When placed in a "dog chasing its own tail" circular loop - they are forced to find something else to draw the dogs attention.

The ironic point of it all is that these promising young males who could have been solid assets for their community have been derailed into becoming threats to their community.

  • The Establishment Powers - control the schools that should have developed their competencies
  • The Establishment Powers - control the economic and regulatory powers that define the climate by which "consumers of labor" operate within
  • The Establishment Powers - enforce the laws of order on the streets
  • The Establishment Powers - define the culture and social norms within which the people live

The truth of it all, people, is that until the community seeks to develop itself THROUGH the institutions that have been allocated to them, instead of this perpetual progressive expansionary chase - which functions as a carrot and a dream - the only force that benefits is the progressive.

Most certainly the interests of the community are not benefited.
