Nation Of Islam Embraces Thug Criminal Rappers - Snoop Dogg and T.I.

This is all too interesting.  Years ago I had a barber who was a member of the nation of Islam.  We used to discuss various subjects.  One of them was the ignorant and Sambo-istic lyrics that is found in too many hip hop performances.

I called out Farrahkan for talking so much about working with these rappers so that they might receive consciousness and use their powerful voices for constructive purposes.  I asked what happens after so many nice engagements they STILL do not listen?

That particular brother stated to me that at some point the NOI was going to go on stage and snatch these vile rappers off the stage.

I see that these rappers are now INVITED ON THE STAGE to sit as a guest of honor with the leader of the NOI.

ROSEMONT, Ill. — Snoop Dogg has made an appearance at the Nation of Islam's annual convention in a Chicago suburb.

Wearing sunglasses, a dark suit and a tie, the rapper spoke briefly in front of a crowd of thousands Sunday and praised the Chicago-based movement's Minister Louis Farrakhan.

Farrakhan has long held relationships with famous rappers and hip-hop artists. Snoop, whose real name is Calvin Broadus, called himself the leader of the "hip-hop community" and says he'll always seek out the minister.

Snoop gave a $1,000 donation to the Nation of Islam, then sat on stage and smiled and nodded as Farrakhan delivered a speech.

Rapper T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris, appeared via recorded video. He told followers that education is the key to success.
